About Ebenus cretica: Leaves trifoliate or quinquefoliate. Leaflets silvery-haired, elliptic oblong,15-30mm. Deep pink flowers in dense hairy racemes. Corolla 10-15mm. Calyx hairy. A characteristic Cretan endemic. Habitat: Stony and rocky slopes of hills and gorges in the sub-montane and lowland zones. Flowers April-May. One of our favorites!
